Controller: Multifamily Property Accounting Location: New York City (In-Office 4–5 Days/Week) Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 Base + Bonus Our SelectLeaders client is a vertically integrated real estate investment and services firm headquartered in New York City. The company has built a multi-dimensional platform spanning property management, construction management, acquisitions, lending, and proprietary data analytics, in the NYC multifamily market. With a portfolio of more than 50 multifamily buildings and plans to add 250+ additional units this year, the firm partners with major institutional investors to support a portfolio that includes units ranging from luxury Class A to affordable, and rent-stabilized buildings throughout New York City. They are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for its growing portfolio. This role is ideal for a hands-on operational accounting leader with deep multifamily experience, strong Yardi expertise, and a proven ability to manage remote and offshore accounting teams in a high-growth environment. The Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of multifamily accounting experience and has the operational mindset to identify process improvements while maintaining strict financial reporting deadlines.
