We are currently looking to expand our team in the **Morris, IL** area. **About the Job** A successful candidate for this position MUST have experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, and have a strong understanding of **semi-trailer diagnostics and repair**. Candidate should be self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoy mobile service truck work and be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers. **Benefits** - **$23-$28/hour or commensurate with experience.** - **Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.** - **Monday-Friday - DAYS!** - Paid holidays and vacations time. - 401(k) after 1 year. - **Overtime after 40 hours.** Bi-weekly paychecks. - We promote from within. **Responsibilities** - Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems. - Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components. - Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems. - Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service. - Maintain positive working relationships with customers. - Properly operate the mobile Service Truck. - Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck. **Requirements** - **Trailer Mechanic experience required.** - Outdoor, mobile service truck position. - Valid Driver's License. - Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen. - Ability to lift 50lbs. **RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
