Our client based in Bristol is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join their North and West Locality Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to work alongside another Team Manager in leading a busy Adult Social Care locality service, with a particular focus on performance management, service delivery, KPI achievement, and high-quality social work practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring safe and effective support is delivered to adults, carers, and families. Working within a fast-paced and challenging environment, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team undertaking Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding interventions, and strengths-based support planning across a diverse adult population. This role requires a resilient and resourceful manager who can effectively balance operational demands, service improvement, workforce development, and strategic priorities whilst promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellent customer outcomes. What will your responsibilities be? Providing day-to-day operational leadership and management of the North and West Locality Service alongside a fellow Team Manager. Leading staff to deliver high-quality, strengths-based Adult Social Care services in accordance with legislation, policy, and best practice. Driving service performance through effective implementation and monitoring of KPIs, performance targets, and quality assurance processes. Managing, supervising, and supporting Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Social Care Practitioners to achieve positive outcomes for citizens and carers. Leading on performance management, attendance management, supervision, appraisal processes, and workforce development activities. Supporting practitioners with complex casework, safeguarding concerns, risk management, and decision-making. Coordinating safeguarding enquiries, providing advice and guidance to practitioners, and chairing safeguarding strategy meetings where required. Ensuring statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Adult Safeguarding legislation, and Best Interest processes are met. Promoting a strengths-based approach that maximises independence, resilience, and community-based solutions for adults with care and support needs. Managing service resources effectively, including oversight of budgets and ensuring value for money across service delivery. Working collaboratively with health partners, community organisations, housing providers, and other stakeholders to support integrated service delivery. Contributing to service development, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement across Adult Social Care. Monitoring and analysing performance data, ensuring accurate recording and effective use of information systems. Supporting hospital discharge pathways, community-based interventions, and mutual aid arrangements across service areas where required. Deputising for senior managers as appropriate and contributing to strategic and operational planning. Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role you must have; Professional Qualification: Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or another relevant Health and Social Care qualification. Registration: Must hold current professional registration with the relevant governing body where applicable. Experience: Significant experience within Adult Social Care, including leadership, supervision, and management responsibilities. Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage teams within a complex Adult Social Care environment. Legislation Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Adult Safeguarding legislation, Best Interest processes, and Health and Social Care eligibility criteria.
