Restaurant to go Attendant

Overview: Service of food and/or beverage to include the delivery and order-taking of any food and/or beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities: Prepare, deliver and service orders. Responsible for preparing, presenting, and collecting payment for each guest check. Responsible for delivery and in-room presentation of Amenities. Responsible for delivery of select guest beverages. Maintain a full understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on our menus and serve them accordingly. Perform and adhere to established standards of the preparation, presentation and delivery of high-quality service to our guests. Determine and adjust the type of service to be provided, according to the needs of the situation, in order to maximize the degree of guest satisfaction. Ensure that all guest and back of house areas are kept clean and organized. Comply with all safety and health requirements according to the city health codes and department expectations to include but not limited to: dates and labels on all prepared food, proper levels of soap and sanitizing solutions, maintaining cleanliness of work area, etc. To be familiar with all services and facilities offered by the hotel. Be courteous and display a professional attitude throughout service. To handle guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisor if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guest. Understand and adhere to the rules & regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times. Complete all side-work and daily responsibilities by the end of the shift. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and management. Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions Adhere to cash handling standards Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications Qualifications: Previous serving experience preferred BASSET and Food Handler certifications are required Meet minimum age requirements for jurisdiction. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
