Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Journeyperson B-Pressure Welders to support upcoming work at CNRL on a fly-in/fly-out basis. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in GTAW and SMAW alloy welding on industrial piping systems. Key Responsibilities: - Perform GTAW and SMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems. - Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding procedures. - Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and client requirements. - Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and regulations. - Conduct work in accordance with applicable welding codes and standards. - Work collaboratively with supervisors, pipefitters, and other trades on site. Qualifications: - Alberta Journeyperson Welder Certificate and B-Pressure Certification required. - Interprovincial Red Seal Certification considered an asset. - Strong GTAW and SMAW alloy welding experience required. - F3/F4 SMAW Certification. - F6 GTAW Certification. - F6/F5 Stainless GTAW and Stainless SMAW experience. - F4X/F4X Inconel GTAW and Inconel SMAW experience. - CWB SMAW Certification. - Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems. - Experience with pipe fit-up, spool fabrication, and reading isometric drawings. - Valid driver's license. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
