As a Direct Care Worker (DCW), you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their housing, develop life skills, and improve their overall quality of life. ### Positions Availability - **Part-Time positions available (Thursday-Saturday 8am to 4pm)** - Must be available to work weekdays and weekends ### Qualifications - **Minimum of 2 years of experience** working in the direct care, behavioral health, mental health, developmental disabilities, supportive housing, or human services field. - **Valid driver's license with a good driving record.** - Medication administration experience or certification preferred (**Must be a Medication Passer**). - Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and compassion. ### Key Responsibilities - Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other barriers to independent living within our supportive housing programs. - Assist residents in securing, maintaining, and successfully living in stable housing environments. - Support residents with daily living skills that promote housing stability and long-term independence. - Assist with meal planning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. - Assist with household organization and deep cleaning to help maintain safe and healthy living spaces. - Administer medications as prescribed (**Must be a Medication Passer**). - Transport residents to appointments, community resources, and other essential activities (**Valid driver's license required**). - Connect residents with community resources and supportive services that enhance their well-being and self-sufficiency. - Encourage participation in recreational and social activities that promote engagement, confidence, and overall wellness. - Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality care and support. ### What We're Looking For We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and motivated individuals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
