**SMI Properties** **5265 Z MAX Blvd** **Harrisburg, NC 28075** **Position: Warehouse Associate Part-time** **Description** SMI Properties is seeking a warehouse associate. This position is responsible for handling loose freight, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into, within, and out of the facility. Additionally, this position provides critical support for shipping operations **Duties and Responsibilities** - Accurately prepare and complete orders for delivery, pickup, or production according to work order (pick, pack, wrap, label, stage, ship) - Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, count, locate in facility) - Verify orders in Traverse as they leave the warehouse - Perform inventory cycle counts - Keep a clean and safe facility - Report any discrepancies - Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers **Requirements** - Detail-oriented - Able to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment - Capable of safely and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs. - Capable of working on your feet for periods up to 4 hours - Microsoft Windows knowledge base preferred. - Efficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel - Willingness to learn administrative computer tasks - Able to work some fluctuating hours depending on season and need - Ability to work a 30-hour work week on a regular basis
