Warehouse and Facilities Clerk

Headquartered in Inglewood, California and founded in 1999, the company designs and manufactures solid-state, high-power RF amplifier systems and modules for commercial, scientific, and military customers worldwide. **Position Summary:** Under general supervision, the Facilities & Warehouse Clerk is responsible for safely handling incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse and assisting in facility maintenance, including mechanical, fire safety, security, building access, etc. **Primary Duties:** - Works from sales orders, shipping memos, packing slips, purchase orders, etc. required to effect routing shipment and receipt of parts and/or materials. - Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks. - Open crates and boxes and make accurate count and identification of materials, items, and parts; checks against packing sheets or bills of lading and reports discrepancies. - Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments. - Pack wrapped or unwrapped parts, assemblies, and materials in crates or boxes; pack items with packing materials to provide adequate protection from damage during transit. - Prepare and process all necessary paperwork such as bills of lading, labels, manifests, daily shipping and/or receiving reports, shipping memos, etc. - Utilize ERP system to track inventory and update records. - Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed. - Occasionally lift heavy and/or large objects while adhering to safety guidelines. - Assist in coordinating maintenance services and repairs of the facility. - Take appropriate and efficient initiative with little oversight on projects and tasks. **Key Qualifications:** - Must have Forklift experience. - At least one year of experience with loading, unloading, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks is required. - Prior general facility maintenance experience is a plus. - Knowledge of Epicor/Vantage MRP system is a plus. - Ability to accurately package items for shipment, including crating large electronic units, and basic math skills for counting and calculating weights. - Ability to operate computers and software programs, including email and Microsoft Word/Excel. - Strong attention to detail is needed to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving. - Must be able to lift 30 pounds using proper lift technique. Must speak and write fluent English. - Must be able to maintain an organized, clear, and safe work area while adhering to quality and safety standards. **Work Schedule:** Monday through Friday - 7:00 start time.
