Together, we can shape the future. **Job Description:** The Las Vegas Team requires additional technical support, specifically a Mechanic to assist in their successful progress. **Key Responsibilities** - Proficiency in basic principles of mechanical troubleshooting and repair (able to perform the task with no supervision) - Knowledge of the basic principles of (has had training, but has not proven proficiency and sometimes requires supervision of task): - Inspection and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment - Mechanical Installation of facility machinery - Root cause analysis and counter measure - Product quality analysis - Preventative maintenance process of facility machinery - Operation monitoring of facility machinery - Basic equipment fabrication - Fabrication of repair parts and solutions - Troubleshooting and repair of: - Optical Sortation - Crushers and Screeners - Compressed Air and Dryers - Organic Removal Systems - Metal Remove (Fe and NonFe) - Conveyance - Create and ensure environment of safety for self and others - Complete daily maintenance and repair logs - Maintain a clean work area - Maintain and secure work tools Other duties as assigned **Education & Experience Requirements** High School Diploma/GED preferred Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively Team player, able to lead and contribute to a team effort Excellent communication and people skills Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred Able to work safely and efficiently Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred Glass processing knowledge is a plus this is the one for the last perm hire: As a Maintenance Technician**,** your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: · Perform mechanical work including changing bearings, belts, and idler pulleys on trough-style conveyors · Clean and replace pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines; maintain organized work area · Communicate equipment issues with mechanics and supervisors across shifts · Conduct PM and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, front-end loaders, and sweepers · Install facility machinery as needed .Welding and small fabrication to do repairs around the facility **What You Bring to the Table** · Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives · Electronic experience preferred · Strong experience with mechanical conveyors · Glass processing knowledge a plus · PLC experience a plus would this work for the vegas maintenance? **Employee Type:** Permanent **Why Join Us?** Sibelco is more than a workplace—it’s a community that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
