LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Management team in **Springdale, AR** **Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM: additional hours as needed** **Job Responsibilities:** - Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients. - Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications - Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner. - Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions. - Provide customer education and information as needed. - Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies. - Prepare and triage specimens for analysis. - Accurately identify and label specimens. - Pack and ship specimens as necessary. - Prepare and store excess specimen samples. **Minimum Qualification:** - High School Diploma or GED equivalent - 1 or more years of experience in customer service or a client facing role. **Preferred Qualification:** - Current or prior LabCorp experience - Associates degree or higher - 1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience **Additional Job Standards** - Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal - Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures - Comfortable handling biological specimens - Ability to accurately identify specimens - Experience working in a team environment - Strong data entry and organizational skills - High level of attention to detail - Proficient in MS Office - Ability to lift up to 40lbs. - Able to pass a standardized color blindness test *At LabCorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
