Compliance Manager, Quality and Product

Position Overview: Velo3D designs and manufactures metal additive manufacturing systems and provides rapid production services to customers in aerospace, defense, space, energy, and medical markets. Operating as a contract manufacturer brings Velo3D within a set of industry accreditation, certification, and customer-mandated quality requirements that must be actively maintained, evidenced, and audited. The Quality and Product Compliance Manager owns that compliance portfolio. The role is embedded with the Quality organization and works in its daily rhythm, but reports through Legal and Compliance so that the evidence, audit responses, and attestations describing Velo3D's compliance are prepared independently of the function whose performance they describe. This is a hands-on program-owner role, not an oversight role and not a quality engineering role. The successful candidate will align the documentation, maintain the evidentiary record, respond to findings, and hold the schedule.
