PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow professional practices consistent with school and system policies in working with students, student records, parents, and colleagues. Facilitate home-school communication by holding conferences, telephoning and sending written communications Maintain confidentiality of students and students' records. Work cooperatively with school administrators, special support personnel, colleagues, and parents. Comply with school, system, and state administrative regulations and Board of Education policies Conduct assigned classes at the times scheduled Enforce regulations concerning student conduct and discipline Provide adequate information, plans, and materials for a substitute teacher Maintain accurate, complete and appropriate records and files reports promptly. Attend and participate in faculty meetings and other assigned meetings and activities according to school policy Demonstrate professional practices in teaching and models correct grammar and usage. Demonstrate accurate and up to date knowledge of content Implement designated curriculum and ensure students receive all services assigned Maintain lesson plans as required by school policy Protect records, equipment, materials, and facilities Assume responsibility for supervising student in out of class settings Attend all meetings concerning their students and follow Due Process procedures Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the principal or designee.
