The role requires technical ownership, collaboration, and the ability to solve complex problems while balancing product priorities. Key responsibilities include: - Design, develop, and enhance platform features, integrations, and software solutions. - Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions across the product lifecycle. - Build and maintain backend services with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. - Develop and optimize database solutions, including queries, procedures, functions, and data access layers. - Create and maintain APIs, integrations, and application components using modern development practices. - Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to engineering quality standards. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across development and production environments. - Manage technical debt while balancing feature delivery, customer needs, and long-term product improvements. - Take ownership of complex technical challenges and approach problem-solving with structured analysis. - Support team delivery by collaborating with engineers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams. - Apply AI-powered development tools and agent-based technologies to improve engineering productivity. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and best practices. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience, particularly in backend development, Java technologies, databases, and modern web application frameworks. Required qualifications and skills include: - 4–6 years of professional software development experience. - Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JDBC, JPA, and Spring Security. - Solid knowledge of Java EE technologies, including Servlets, JSTL, JSP, and JDBC. - Experience writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services. - Frontend development experience with React and/or Angular frameworks. - Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, and SASS. - Experience integrating and working with third-party APIs. - Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Okta. - Experience using cloud-based version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket. - Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic A…
