Working with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners, the position plays a key role in bringing next-generation AI solutions from concept to real-world deployment. ### Accountabilities: The Senior Software Engineer - New AI Initiatives will design, develop, and implement advanced AI and machine learning solutions while helping establish scalable engineering practices. This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and the capability to collaborate across teams to turn innovative ideas into reliable products. - Build and enhance the foundation of AI development tools, workflows, and infrastructure. - Translate complex business and technical challenges into machine learning workflows, including exploratory data analysis, model development, inference pipelines, metric computation, and deployment strategies. - Independently design and develop data science models and algorithms using disciplined software engineering practices. - Create and maintain high-quality code through version control, documentation, testing, and scalable development processes. - Collaborate with Data Operations teams to define and implement data ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance processes for complex datasets. - Develop guidelines, standards, and best practices for machine learning models, deployment processes, and analytics workflows. - Lead technical projects, coordinate execution, and provide guidance to less experienced team members. - Enable teams with actionable insights through effective data visualization and accessible analytics solutions. - Evaluate emerging technologies and determine practical approaches for implementing innovative AI capabilities at scale. - Communicate technical findings, progress, and recommendations clearly across engineering teams and business stakeholders. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is a technically strong software engineer with experience developing machine learning solutions and working on innovative technology initiatives.
