What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications supporting Capital Markets platforms and business functions Customize and configure Murex components, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting solutions, and integrations Develop and support real-time and batch integrations between Murex and upstream/downstream systems Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions Optimize application and database performance through effective design and tuning strategies Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation Identify opportunities to automate development and operational processes through AI-enabled solutions Contribute to technical discussions and best practices related to architecture, integration, and system scalability What You Bring Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including object-oriented design, multithreading, collections, performance optimization, and enterprise application development Extensive experience working with Murex across one or more functional areas, including Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Integration Experience with Murex customization and configuration, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting, and integration development Strong understanding of Capital Markets products including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, and structured products Experience designing and developing real-time and batch integrations between Murex and external systems Proficiency with SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL Experience tuning and optimizing complex database queries Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery methodologies Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar platforms Ability to identify and implement opportunities for AI-driven automation across software development, testing, code quality, and operational processes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams Nice to have Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native application development Familiarity with APIs and microservices architectures Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to large-scale financial systems and enterprise integration environments English level Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, s…
