The team works collaboratively with service users, carers and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes through a strengths-based approach. Benefits include: Salary of £46,142 - £52,413 per annum (depending on experience) Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office) Flexible working arrangements 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Excellent training and development opportunities Supportive management and supervision Career progression opportunities within a large Unitary Authority Opportunity to work within an innovative strengths-based service Your Key Responsibilities Manage a complex caseload of adults requiring assessment, support and safeguarding intervention. Undertake Care Act Assessments and statutory reviews. Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and chair Best Interest meetings. Lead on safeguarding enquiries and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards work. Support the Team Manager by providing guidance and leadership to Social Workers and Social Care Assessors. For This Role You Will Need A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Successful completion of ASYE. At least 3 years' post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care. Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Adult Safeguarding legislation.
