Senior AWS Cloud Architect 60-100%

For our client, we are looking for an experienced **Senior AWS Cloud Architect** to support enterprise cloud initiatives. You will design and shape scalable, secure, and resilient AWS architectures, define best practices, and provide technical guidance across teams. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** - Design, implement, and review enterprise-grade AWS cloud architectures - Define architecture standards, best practices, and cloud platform guidelines - Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, high availability, security, and disaster recovery - Lead architecture discussions and technical reviews with business, security, development, and operations teams - Advise engineering teams on cloud-native approaches and implementation decisions * * * **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology - Extensive hands-on experience in cloud, platform, or infrastructure architecture - Proven experience delivering end-to-end AWS projects in complex enterprise environments - Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC - Experience with cloud architecture patterns, security by design, IAM, networking, and governance - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD environments - Knowledge of containers, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures - Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions at enterprise level - Industry experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, or CDMO environments is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage **General Conditions:** - Start Date: Available to start immediately - Workload: 60% - 100% - Working Model: Remote - Duration: 2-3 months - Fluent in English is a Must, German would be an advantage - Ideal candidate based in: Switzerland, willing to travel within Switzerland
