Creates and submits cash funding requests to ensure adequate cash flow. Reconciles urgent check accounts and requests wire transfers when necessary. Reviews and approves financial transactions initiated outside of accounting to maintain accuracy. Analyzes financial data to support decision-making processes and improve financial operations. Collaborates with various departments to enhance financial operations and reporting. Provides financial guidance and support to leadership and other stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Verifies, allocates, posts, and reconciles transactions to ensure accurate financial records. Documents financial transactions. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data; monitors own work to ensure quality. • Reviews and validates financial information assumptions and methodology based on a thorough understanding of financial concepts. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, lookup functions, and subtotals. • Competency in use of PeopleSoft and familiarity with other General Ledger Financial Systems. • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work proactively in teams and maintain a high attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with the capability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. • Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures applied in a complex medium to large corporate or healthcare environment. • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, including researching and proposing resolution to outstanding variances. • Complete understanding of double entry accounting and senior-level general ledger accounting. • Project management experience, demonstrating the ability to define objectives, execute actions according to a plan, and achieve intended results timely. • Learns quickly, including multiple information systems and organizational-specific closing methodologies; able to execute work independently. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality; customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure. • Knowledgeable in US GAAP accounting theory, healthcare-specific accounting principles, and procedures. • Familiarity with business concepts, practices, and procedures; growth-oriented with a keen interest in learning and development. • Ability to read, write, and have good comprehension of conversational English. • Experience in the preparation and filing of external tax reports; knowledge of healthcare revenue recognit…
