Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and communicate with professionalism while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** DayTimeMon10:30 AM - 07:00 PMFri10:30 AM - 07:00 PMSat10:30 AM - 07:00 PMSun10:30 AM - 07:00 PM **What You'll Do:** - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. - Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. - Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. - Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access control issues, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel. - Support a professional environment by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and following post orders related to after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or restricted areas. **Minimum Requirements:** - A guard card and/or license is preferred. - CPR certification is preferred. - Customer service experience is preferred. - CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred. - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. **Why Join Us:** - **Smart Tools:** Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more. - **Career Growth:** Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities. - **Financial and Health Benefits:** Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance. - **Exclusive Perks:** Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
