We want everyone to be as proud of what we are achieving – and excited about our future – as we are, and we are committed to working together to achieve this. **About the Role:** Assist Rostering Officers to: - Maintain rosters for support workers and make and respond to routine client and support worker telephone calls. - Provide an excellent customer experience through phone contact primarily with support workers, clients, families, agencies and internal staff. **You will be responsible for:** - Answering high volume incoming calls. - Assisting rostering officers to ensure support workers rosters accurately reflect service requests. - Contacting clients regarding their rostered bookings, prior to actual service provision. - Inputting accurate service notes and information into Council's client management system in a timely way. - Communicating with support workers to provide routine day to day rostering changes and support. **Key Selection Criteria:** To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies: - Excellent communication skills with the capacity to handle high volumes of incoming and outgoing phone calls. - Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent attention to detail. - Understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers. - Ability to backfill rostering officers during planned and unplanned leave following training. - Experience working in the administration of aged care programs would be well regarded. **Mandatory pre-employment requirements:** - Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check. - Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check. **What we can offer you in return:** - Generous leave provisions, including accrued time off, parental leave, three days of wellbeing leave per year, cultural and ceremonial leave, gender affirmation leave, plus the ability to purchase up to four weeks additional leave per year. - Dedicated Staff Wellbeing programs, events and gym membership discounts. - Learning and development opportunities so our people can grow and thrive. - A parkland surrounding the office that is only a short 500m stroll to the beach. - Free onsite staff parking.
