Residential Aide - Eddy Center (Middletown)

*Position: Residential Aide* *Program: Eddy Center* *Location: Middletown* *Salary: $20.00/hour* *Schedule: Per Diem (Days, hours and shifts will vary)* Program Summary: The Eddy Center is a residential housing program that provides individualized treatment services, substance use and mental health education, and job preparation to adult males who are under DOC's supervision so they can successfully re-enter their communities and avoid re-offending. Position Summary: This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved Men as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved ***or*** have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community. Requirements: - High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent or an Associate's Degree - Valid Driver’s License - Regular and predictable attendance is required Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
