This position delivers nursing care and treatment to inmates with medical, behavioral, or developmental needs in a correctional setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties: - **Nursing Care Delivery:** Implement care plans by checking vital signs, giving medications, performing treatments, and supporting daily living needs - **Medical Support:** Assist physicians during exams, clinics, and screenings - **Emergency Response:** Provide assessment and urgent treatment including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use - **Record Management:** Maintain medical files, prepare reports, and ensure accurate documentation - **Supply Oversight:** Sterilize instruments, track inventory, and maintain necessary medical supplies - **Professional Development:** Attend training sessions and stay informed on policy and procedure updates Interested in learning more?
