Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred, but not required. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime. Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
