Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist Base Salary : 85k – 105k, commensurate with experience Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Washington State) Hours: 9a – 5p; M-F; Pacific Time Travel Requirements: up to 10% within the US Reports to: Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Job Summary The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide remote psychotherapy services to individuals experiencing mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders in the state of Washington. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, conducting assessments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. The therapist will primarily work with individuals referred from an opioid treatment program and must be comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms. This is a remote position operating during Pacific Time hours. Duties/Responsibilities: Services to be provided remotely to individuals seeking therapy for mental health disorders and/or co-occurring disorders. Individuals being referred to this service provider will be active patients of an opioid treatment program. Assess and diagnose patients for mental health/ substance use diagnoses using DSM 5 TR and/or ASAM criteria. Prepare individualized treatment plans to address mental health or co-occurring disorders of the patient with the input of the patient, relevant providers and patient’s chosen supports. Provides diagnostic, treatment, referral, and crisis intervention services for patients in accordance with standards established by incumbent's professional mental health organization (American Psychological Association, etc.). Conducts individual psychotherapy for adults. Coordinates service provision to patients and consults with professional colleagues as needed to promote optimal patient care including appropriate referrals for psychiatric evaluation or medication. Participates in interdisciplinary case conferences with the clinic partner Conducts risk assessments and referrals as appropriate. Maintains all appropriate patient records in the Electronic Medical Record according to documentation policies and guidelines. Participates in committee, departmental, and team meetings as relevant and required. Supervisory: The Licensed Mental Health Therapist may provide clinical supervision to unlicensed therapists, interns, or other mental health professionals as required. This may include reviewing clinical documentation, providing case consultations, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards, and offering guidance on treatment approaches. Required Skills/Abilities Strong communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex clinical information effectively to patients, families, and professional colleagues.
