**Job Summary** Coordinates the provision of direct patient care according to AORN Nursing Care Standards. The Registered/Graduate Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and records patient care in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care. Directs and assists with the Licensed Practical Nurse, Surgical Technologist, Nursing Assistant and Nursing Student in rendering care to patients. Works collaboratively with all members of the patient care team and provides leadership so that standards of professional nursing practice are maintained in the clinical setting. Demonstrates ability to function as a charge nurse as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the span of life. He/she must be able to identify each patient’s age specific needs and provide appropriate care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, or adult patient. May function as circulating nurse or scrub nurse. **Job Specification** - Minimum Education Required - Graduate of accredited program of professional nursing. - BSN preferred. - Minimum Experience Required - OR experience preferred - Licensure/Certification Required - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA - CNOR preferred. - Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire) **Skills** - Possess nursing knowledge to assess patient, formulate plan of care, implement, evaluate and record completely. - Demonstrate ability in leadership. **Shifts** - All with Call Time
