Our Medical Surgical unit contains 25 Semi-Private Beds, and cares for a variety of conditions for all adult patients. They administer medications, monitor vital signs, change dressings, and educate patients about their procedures. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). - Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. - Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
