Our unit embraces a friendly culture, emphasizing teamwork and cohesion. 5E is more than just a workplace – it's the place to be, where we not only teach you to be the best nurse but also actively participate in your succession planning in nursing.**Nursing skills gained on this unit:** - Obtain Med Surg/Progressive Care certifications - Develop strong bedside and procedural skills - Understand and develop further expertise for a variety of treatments due to nature of acuity adaptable - Time management & flexibility while managing patients ranging in acuity levels - **Unit Culture Highlights:** - 3 Daisy award winners on this unit! - Very close-knit team dedicated to patient care and career growth - Great unit for new RNs to start a career - 5E team members are considered to be family strive to help support one another wherever possible - **Qualifications:** - Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. - Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. - Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
