**Recruiting & People Lead** **About Duet** : Duet is on a mission to transform primary care by empowering nurse practitioners (NPs) to own and operate their practices. By providing NPs with tailored products and services within a supportive setting, Duet is building the nation’s largest network of NP-owned practices, driving better outcomes for patients and communities. **About the Role** We're hiring a Recruiting & People Lead to own talent and people operations across all of Duet. This is a foundational role at a company growing fast - you'll build and run the systems that bring great people in, set them up to succeed, and make Duet a place where they want to stay. You'll own end-to-end recruiting across every function, manage the day-to-day rhythm of our NYC office that’s in 3-4 days/week, and help shape the culture and programming that makes Duet feel like Duet. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to do real work, not manage a team that does it. **What You'll Do** **Recruiting** - Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions - clinical, operations, business development, technology, and everything in between - Partner with hiring managers to define roles, build pipelines, and close strong candidates quickly - Manage our ATS and keep hiring data clean, accurate, and useful - Coordinate external search partners for senior or specialized searches when needed - Represent Duet's brand and values at every touchpoint of the candidate experience **People Operations** - Manage our PEO, including onboarding new hires, so everyone starts strong - Own day-to-day HR processes: PTO, leaves, employee relations, policy questions, and compliance - Support managers on performance conversations, documentation, and corrective action when needed - Maintain accurate records in our HRIS and ensure we're running clean processes as we scale **Office & Culture** - Oversee the day-to-day operations of our NYC office - vendors, supplies, facilities, and the little things that make the space work - Own logistics for company offsites, team dinners, and internal events - Design and execute cultural programming that builds connection across a growing team - Be the person who notices what needs to happen and makes it happen **What We're Looking For** - 5+ years in recruiting, people operations, or a generalist HR role - ideally at a high-growth startup - You've done it all: sourced candidates, closed offers, run onboarding, handled a difficult conversation, planned a team event - Strong executor - you don't wait to be told what to do, and you follow through - Organized and detail-oriented without being slow; you can manage competing priorities without dropping things - Clear, direct communicator who earns trust with candidates, employees, and leaders alike - Someone who wants to grow - this role will expand as Duet does, and we want someone who's excited about that The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 plus equity. This role is hybrid in NYC.
