Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy. - Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment. - Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam. - Screens patients properly for any contrast allergies and for childbearing age, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers. - Other duties as assigned. - Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner. - Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately Required - Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility Required - Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals Required - Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry Required - Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment Required - Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English Required - Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Required **Education:** - Associate Preferred - Bachelor's Preferred - High School Grad or Equiv Required **Work Experience:** - 2+ years experience Required **Licenses and Certifications:** - Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required - Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) Required - **Physical Requirements:** *(Please click the link below to view work requirements)*Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/2vvwrzem **Pay Range:** $20.60 - $38.31 *This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.*
