Rad Tech (Full Time) - Radiology 7040

**St. Mary's Medical Center** is seeking a **Rad Tech -** Primary purpose is to perform radiograph procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required. **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging strongly preferred. Graduate of an accredited AMA program for Radiologic Technology. Holder of a valid and current: 1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry eligible, and; 2. Licensed as required by the West Virginia State “Board” of Radiology **EXPERIENCE:** Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not essential. **SKILLS:** Uses a variety of stationery and mobile radiation producing diagnostic equipment and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials and devices. BLS required.
