You will lead the day-to-day management of the Events & Venues workstream within larger integrated client programs, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless planning and execution. While the broader program is managed across multiple disciplines, you will serve as the primary owner for all event and venue-related work, bringing structure, clarity, and strong follow-through to this critical portion of the program. You will oversee all aspects of the Events & Venues workstream, including research, venue sourcing, vendor management, hospitality, contracting, permits, payments, budgets, timelines, and communications. Working behind the scenes, you will coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, venues, vendors, and partners to ensure this workstream is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the overall program strategy. This role requires someone who is proactive, persistent, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director, you will own the Events & Venues workstream from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, approvals, deliverables, and next steps are clearly managed and communicated. You will anticipate needs, identify risks early, resolve operational challenges, and keep stakeholders aligned while collaborating with the broader program team responsible for overall client delivery. You will also provide day-to-day guidance and support to direct report(s), including prioritization, training, mentoring, and general oversight. This role requires a collaborative, approachable leadership style and the ability to confidently lead the Events & Venues workstream while remaining flexible, organized, and solution focused. Evening and weekend work will be required based on program needs. REQUIRED SKILLS Events & Venues Workstream Management. You will own the Events & Venues portion of integrated client programs, ensuring timelines, deliverables, approvals, budgets, and next steps are clearly managed and communicated. Working in partnership with cross-functional teams, you will bring structure, organization, and accountability to your workstream while balancing multiple priorities, anticipating risks, and driving solutions through execution Research, Sourcing & Recommendations. You bring strong research and sourcing capability across venues, vendors, and partners, identifying options that align with the needs of the Events & Venues workstream, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. You develop clear, well-supported recommendations that help advance decision-making and are confident presenting to internal and client stakeholders. Experience with venue sourcing, catering, hospitality, permitting, and vendor management is essential. Negotiation, Contracting, Payments & Budget Awareness. You have experience managing the operational and financial aspects of the Events & Venues workstream, including venue and vendor negotiations, contracts, permits, purchase orders, invoices, vendor onboarding, payments, and budget tracking. You are detail-oriented and comfortable managing process-heavy work with accuracy, discretion, and accountability.
