This position is critical to supporting daily production activities on the processing floor by operating and maintaining equipment in a safe, efficient, and quality-driven environment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working on a team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has previous experience in a manufacturing environment. **You will get to:** - Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment; perform changeovers, routine maintenance, and cleaning per SOPs. - Guide and coordinate operations team activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and production targets are met. - Maintain smooth production flow and promptly report equipment or process issues to minimize downtime. - Maintain product quality by conducting in-process checks, completing accurate documentation, including production records, digital entries, and deviation reports, and reporting any non-conformances. - Collaborate with Maintenance to address equipment concerns, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime. - Participate in investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. - Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis. - Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices. - Embody OFD’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department and company culture. **Hourly pay:** **$22.00** **Schedule: Multiple available** - **2nd (Mon-Fri 2:45PM - 11:15PM, $.90 Shift Diff)** - **3rd (Mon- Fri 10:45PM - 7;15AM, $1.00 Shift Diff)** - **Rotating 12-hour shifts:** - **2, 2, 3 schedule rotation -** **Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM / Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM** **($1.00 diff)** - (please see rotation example below) | | **MON** | **TUE** | **WED** | **THUR** | **FRI** | **SAT** | **SUN** | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **Week 1** | **Off** | **Off** | **Work** | **Work** | **Off** | **Off** | **Off** | | **Week 2** | **Work** | **Work** | **Off** | **Off** | **Work** | **Work** | **Work** | **Environment of this position:** - Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures. - Noise level in the work environment can be loud. - Exposure to various food allergens. - Constant requirement to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, reach, carry, and lift and twist. - Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. OFD contains office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work.
