Principal iOS Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Principal iOS Engineer based in India.** As a Principal iOS Engineer, you will lead the development and evolution of cutting-edge mobile identity and security technologies used by millions of users worldwide. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior mobile expert who enjoys technical leadership, solving complex challenges, and driving innovation at scale. ### Accountabilities: - Lead the architecture, design, and ongoing development of native iOS SDKs and related mobile products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. - Drive the delivery of new functionalities and product enhancements from concept and design through implementation, testing, and public release. - Develop high-quality, clean, and well-documented code that supports large-scale deployments and mission-critical applications. - Collaborate with machine learning, computer vision, product, and engineering teams to integrate advanced technologies into mobile solutions. - Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and long-term product strategy initiatives. - Support customers by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues related to SDK implementations. - Contribute to cross-platform initiatives and customer-facing applications when required. - Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage priorities effectively, taking ownership of projects and ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions. - Mentor and support fellow engineers by sharing knowledge and contributing to a strong engineering culture. ## Requirements - 8+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications and frameworks using Swift. - Strong expertise in iOS architecture, software design patterns, and modern mobile engineering best practices. - Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale mobile applications, SDKs, or frameworks used in production environments. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and software quality assurance practices. - Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and test automation methodologies. - Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, or advanced mobile technologies is highly desirable. - Working knowledge of Android fundamentals and mobile architecture concepts. - Experience handling digital identity solutions, identity verification technologies, or applications involving personally identifiable information (PII) is highly advantageous. - Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as React Native, Flutter, or Cordova is considered a plus. - Experience with Fastlane, Ruby, or mobile automation tooling is beneficial. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, business-driven outcomes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in distributed and cross-functional teams. - Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and sharing technical knowledge with peers. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to influence architectural decisions and mentor engineering teams. ## Benefits - Opportunity to contribute to…
