We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Potwasher to join our growing New York Team! About DO & CO We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. Responsibilities: Operate large electric machines, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers. Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces as assigned. Sort and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers; steam clean or hose garbage cans in assigned areas. Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while adhering to safe lifting standards. Assist with the loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products. Maintain compliance with all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards outlined by company policies. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant industry or similar role. Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with experience in fast-paced environments. Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proven track record of completing tasks within tight deadlines. Physically capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Flexible schedule with availability to work; days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of sanitation regulations and procedures is an advantage. What We Offer: Pay rate: $17.45 hourly.
