The Manufacturing Team Examples of key problems the team is working on - Scale manufacturing. Grow manufacturing capacity and capability across the full production process, with the range to take on more products and higher volume at an industry leading pace. - Manufacture infrastructure. Build and operate a manufacturing ecosystem that delivers gigawatts of infrastructure per year. - Be an engine for growth. Role Scope - Own all production output at the Phoenix-area facility: throughput rate, takt adherence, quality escape rate, line uptime, and on-time shipment against customer delivery commitments. - Drive continuous improvement across all production lines, including root-cause analysis and corrective action on every throughput or quality deviation, from the line floor up. - Hold final product acceptance authority: nothing ships without your sign-off or explicit delegation, and you own the workforce interface with the on-site staffing partner to enforce that standard. - Own site readiness across tooling, fixturing, material flow, equipment, utilities, and floor layout, including all contractor and vendor relationships and full OSHA, NFPA 70E, and air quality permit compliance. - Build and develop the on-site manufacturing team, including production managers, supervisors, quality, and facilities staff, and own workforce planning across headcount ramp, shift structure, skill mix, and certification tracking.
