Plane Train Cleaner Shift Superviser

**Job Summary:** The Plane Train Cleaner Shift Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the airport plane train cleaning team. This position ensures train cars, stations, platforms, and employee areas are cleaned and maintained to airport standards while supervising staff, assigning duties, ensuring safety compliance, and meeting quality and scheduling requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise and coordinate the work of plane train cleaning staff during assigned shifts. - Assign daily work schedules and monitor employee attendance and productivity. - Inspect train cars, stations, platforms, restrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. - Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies. - Ensure compliance with airport security requirements and OSHA safety regulations. - Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request replacements as needed. - Respond to emergency cleaning situations and customer service requests. - Complete shift reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time. - Address employee performance issues and provide coaching and support. - Communicate with airport management and other departments to ensure efficient operations. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED required. - Previous custodial, janitorial, or airport cleaning experience required. - Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred. - Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing. - Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. **Required Skills:** - Leadership and team management. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Time management and organizational skills. - Attention to detail and quality assurance. - Problem-solving and conflict resolution. - Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
