As an Occupational Therapist Assistant with Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, you will work alongside a Registered Occupational Therapist to deliver hands-on care that helps people rebuild the daily skills they need to live fully—and you’ll see the impact of your work every single visit. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in patients' lives and working in a supportive and family-oriented atmosphere, we encourage you to join us in providing exceptional home health care. **Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $80 - $90 per visit.** ### Responsibilities - Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, and track each patient’s progress along the way - Teach patients new skills or help them relearn daily activities lost to illness or injury - Assess patients’ functional abilities and home environments to identify hazards and opportunities for greater independence - Keep clear, timely clinical records and flag any changes in a patient’s condition to the supervising therapist - Coach families and caregivers on how to support recovery at home - Coordinate with the wider care team through case conferences, in-services, and ongoing communication - Meet with your supervising Occupational Therapist at least every 30 days to review care and outcomes - Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) - Current national AOTA certification - Active state license, per state licensure law - At least one year of clinical experience as a COTA - Current CPR certification - Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills - Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle for travel to patient homes - Flexible Schedule - Ability to Convert to Full-Time Based On Performance If Interested - Paid Sick Days - Paid Bereavement Leave - Skills Training & Development - Company Social Events - Mileage Reimbursement for Patient to Patient Visits - Referral Bonus
