This position is responsible for providing exceptional specimen collection services while delivering a concierge-level experience to every member. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** - Perform venipuncture and capillary blood specimen collection using established best practices. - Demonstrate proficiency in difficult blood draws while maintaining patient comfort and confidence. - Verify patient identity using approved patient identification procedures. - Accurately label, process, package, and prepare laboratory specimens for transport. - Document laboratory collections accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). - Monitor specimen integrity and ensure compliance with laboratory collection standards. - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked laboratory draw station. - Restock laboratory supplies, collection tubes, needles, PPE, specimen containers, and other clinical inventory as needed.
