This role is centered on building trust, supporting everyday routines, and providing thoughtful care that helps clients and families feel supported throughout each visit. ### Responsibilities - Provide personal care assistance with daily living and hygiene needs. - Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks. - Offer companionship and emotional support during in-home care visits. - Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment for clients. #IND123 ### Required Qualifications - Certified PCA or HHA through a NYSDOH training program. - Recent experience working under your certificate within the past 2 years through a licensed agency. - Fluent in English. - Eligible to work in the United States. - Able to lift or transfer clients weighing an average of 150 lbs, with or without assistance, according to the care plan. - Must live within a 25-mile radius of assigned cases in Long Island or Queens, including Suffolk and Nassau counties. ### Preferred Qualifications - Ability to communicate in English and one additional language. - Availability to work weekends. - Availability to work live-in shifts.
