The Onboarding & Implementation Specialist I is an entry-level role within the Paycycle team responsible for supporting the successful onboarding and configuration of the Paycycle compensation management tool for new and existing clients. You'll serve as the operational backbone of the implementation team, supporting data loads, system testing, and core project tasks are executed accurately and on schedule in a fast paced and technical environment. What You'll Do - Execute data loading activities (Employee Census, Matrices, Bonus Results, Budget Allocation, etc…) and validate client data for accuracy - Conduct Pre-UAT and core functionality testing to identify issues - Document testing outcomes, defects, and observations for troubleshooting - Test and verify core modules including extract generation, templates, user access, and review screens - Develop proficiency in key tools: Salesforce, GUIDEcx, Seismic, Jenkins, SharePoint, and Excel - Participate in project calls, and client meetings as a learning attendee - Shadow senior OIS team members on renewal projects and support tasks - Track time worked and maintain accurate documentation of activities and project allocation - Communicate proactively about task status and blockers to the team What We're Looking For - Proactive self-learner with genuine passion for independently mastering new technical tools and systems. Someone who takes ownership of building technical expertise beyond formal training. - Exceptional problem-solving capabilities - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a commitment to accuracy, reliability - 0–2 years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS implementation, HR technology, client onboarding, or data operations (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude welcome) - Attention to detail and comfort with structured data and spreadsheets - Coachable, reliable, and committed to completing tasks on time - Collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills - Organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in parallel - Growth mindset and clear trajectory toward autonomous task ownership - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Equal Opportunity Employer: We embrace equal employment opportunity.
