Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. **Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Purpose Statement:** Inspire people to discover their God-given talents and develop their potential through artistic, educational, physical, and spiritual experiences in a Christ-centered atmosphere. **Job Summary/Primary Purpose:** The Health and Fitness Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations, organization, communication, and administrative systems of the Health and Fitness department. This position provides operational continuity when the Fitness manager is out. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Assist the Health and Fitness Manager with day-to-day department operations, communication, organization and follow-through to support effective fitness programming and member services. - Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage needs, desk coverage, and communication of schedule updates to ensure appropriate department coverage. - Assist with marketing needs for fitness programs, classes, challenges, special events, announcements, and department initiatives in coordination with the marketing department and the Health and Fitness manager. - Maintain accurate department records, including participation statistics, KPIs, class attendance, program data, equipment maintenance tracking information, certification records, and other reports as requested. - Assist with the development, organization, review, and updating of the Health and Fitness department SOPs, checklists, procedures, and operational documents. - Track staff certifications, including CPR, First Aid, fitness-related certifications, and required training and communicate upcoming expirations or renewal needs to the Health and Fitness manager. - Assist with ordering supplies, equipment, printed materials, program resources, and other department needs while tracking related expenses, purchase requests, receipts, invoices, supply levels, and other budget-related items as directed. - Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, staff, volunteers, and community partners. - All other duties as assigned. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** This position does not have primary supervisory responsibilities but acts as an operational shift supervisor providing direction and communication to fitness staff during assigned shifts or when the Fitness Manager is absent. **Education and/or Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of experience in administration, fitness, recreation, scheduling, customer service, program support, or a related field in a fitness center or similar facility is preferred. **Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. - Good communication skills including interpersonal skills. - English proficiency required; Spanish language skills preferred. - Demonstrated ability to manage spreadsheets and data tracking and scheduling. - Flexibility and…
