Maintenance Technician

**Job Summary:** In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, calibration, maintenance, and repair of control systems and processes, utilizing knowledge of electronics, sensors, electrical meters and system control techniques. **Job Duties/Responsibilities and Requirements:** - Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams - Responsible for diagnosis, calibration, maintenance, and repair of control systems and processes, utilizing knowledge of electronics, sensors, electrical meters and system control techniques - Troubleshoot electrical controls related process issues - Must be willing to work in other areas when needed - Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner - Able to work extended or flexible hours/shifts as required - Performing routine maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, changing filters and performing PMs - Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures - Repairing damaged electrical wiring caused by shorts or severed lines - Keeping tools and equipment clean, organized and in good condition - Notifying management when parts orders are needed for repairs - Conducting equipment inspections to identify issues - Updating work orders, writing notes about services performed and closing requests upon completion - Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders. - Must work well in a team environment. **Qualifications and Education Requirements** - Proven experience in maintenance, with a strong background in equipment and machinery repair. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a related degree from a technical college is preferred. **Physical Requirements:** - **Lifting:** Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs. - **Push/Pull:** Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs. - **Reaching:** Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs. - **Stooping:** Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs. - **Standing:** Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time. - **Walking:** Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. In frequently more than 30 minutes at a time.
