Maintenance Technician

The Dartmouth Group is a full part time Maintenance Technician for its high-end, luxury condominium community in the heart of Boston's Back Bay area. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in residential or hotel maintenance to include light plumbing, light electrical, and light carpentry work (dry wall repair, patch and paint). Daily responsibilities: - Walk and inspect common areas for maintenance concerns. - Review and prioritize Word Order Tickets through Building Link. - Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained. - Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. - Update Work Order Tickets with the work done and close out when the repair is completed. - Follow routine and preventive maintenance schedules. - Ensure that building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. - Inspect, operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed. - Other duties as assigned. Pay rate: $27-$29 an hour. - High School Diploma or GED Required. - 2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience. - Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. - Customer service driven and team oriented. - Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills. - Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements. - Time management and time critical prioritization skills. - Valid driver's license is required. #LI-PK1
