LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Ruston Rheumatology is seeking a LPN to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, insurance, 401k with a company match, PTO and paid holidays. SUMMARY: - Administers routine services in caring for patients. - Ensures confidentiality of patient information and performs appropriate tasks based on patient needs. - Takes patient vital signs - Reviews medical records and updates new information - Administers medications and treatments - Monitors patients after medications and treatments - Administers immunizations and draws blood for labs - Other duties as assigned EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - Graduate of AMA approved school of Practical Nursing. - Pharmacology written examination satisfactory. - BLS certification required. - Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephone, fax machines, etc. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - Current licensure in the State of Louisiana.
