Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote

**Full-Time | Remote** HealthCare Strategies (HCS) is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative Musculoskeletal (MSK) Care Management Program. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of behavioral health, chronic pain management, and care coordination within a self-funded employer population. **About the Role** The LCSW is a key member of our MSK Care Management team, providing evidence-based behavioral health interventions to members whose recovery from musculoskeletal conditions is complicated by psychosocial factors such as depression, anxiety, pain catastrophizing, fear avoidance, and return-to-work challenges. This is a specialty role focused exclusively on chronic musculoskeletal pain, disability prevention, and recovery support. The position operates entirely through telephonic and secure telehealth interactions and does not function as a traditional outpatient therapy role. **Key Responsibilities** • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for referred MSK members. • Administer and interpret validated assessment tools. • Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans. • Deliver structured Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) interventions. • Provide Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) and behavioral coaching. • Address depression and anxiety impacting MSK recovery. • Support return-to-work readiness through behavioral activation and self-efficacy coaching. • Collaborate closely with nurse case managers and serve as a behavioral health consultation resource. • Coordinate care with primary care physicians and behavioral health providers as needed. • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the care management platform. • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and program outcome reviews. **Required Qualifications** • Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license. • Licensure in a Social Work Licensure Compact state strongly preferred. o Candidates holding licensure in multiple states are encouraged to apply. • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program. • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in chronic pain management, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, occupational health, or related behavioral health settings. • Training and/or experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for chronic pain, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for pain, or similar evidence-based interventions. • Experience using electronic health records or care management platforms. • Comfortable providing telephonic and telehealth-based clinical services. **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience working for a health plan, TPA, managed care organization, or care management company. • Occupational health, disability management, workers' compensation, or return-to-work coordination experience. • Bilingual Spanish skills. • Certified Case Manager (CCM) designation. **Working Conditions** • Fully remote position. • Standard business hours with occasional scheduling flexibility. • Reliable high-speed internet and HIPAA-compliant home office required. • No travel required.
