Job Scope and Purpose: Leasing Agents are responsible for leasing vacant apartment homes, identifying effective marketing plans per current trends, and maintaining positive resident relations to support resident retention. 1. Safety and Office Protocol: • Must complete all assigned Francis Property Management training. • Always wear proper identification (Francis Name Tag). • Utilize the Francis issued iPad and Checkpoint ID to properly validate prospective residents before beginning the touring/leasing process. • Communicate with other team members if leaving the office for an extended period of time. • Wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required by a supervisor. • Wear professional office attire, and footwear per the Francis guidelines. • Report any possible risks on the property including but not limited to; lights out, trip hazards, exposed wires, etc. 2. Primary Responsibilities: • Leasing vacant apartment homes by touring (in-person or virtually) prospective residents. • Assisting applicants with the leasing process. • Completing the leasing process in a timely manner per FPM guidelines. • Accept and manage all phone calls and emails within CRM queue (Client Relationship Manager). • The upkeep of daily functions including but not limited to resident retention efforts, marketing plan strategies, and resident lease compliance. • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of property facts and leasing procedures. • Ensure model and target apartments are ready for showing to prospective residents. • Abide by all current Fair Housing laws by attending and maintaining proper training. • This position is a “team player” position and all team members are to be responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of the community. IE assisting with waste pick-up when necessary. Physical Requirements: • Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs to tour property and meet with potential tenants in a variety of weather conditions. • Ability to reach, bend, and have a full range of motion. • Use repetitive motion of hands and wrist while using a computer, keyboard and telephone. • May need to lift and/or move 5-10 pounds.
