Inova Cardiology | Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) | Full Time Days: Monday – Friday Inova Cardiology is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday *Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.* *We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.* **Featured Benefits:** - **Committed to Team Member Health:** offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program. - **Retirement:** Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day. - **Tuition and Student Loan Assistance:** offering up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans. - **Mental Health Support:** offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost. **Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:** - Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include: - Full Intakes - Reconciliation of Medications - Patient Education - Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others. - Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach. - Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice. - Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team. **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - **Licensure:** RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. - **Experience**: 3 years of registered nurse clinical experience. - **Certification:** BLS from the American Heart Association. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous outpatient experience as a Registered Nurse - Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience - ACLS from the American Heart Association ### About the Company We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
