This is your opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families by providing care, support, and encouragement in a safe, home-like environment. **Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:** - Serve as the lead decision maker for the shift - Assist in new staff onboarding - Lead morning shift huddle (include point review) - Assign and monitor staff responsibilities - Assist with call offs - Communicate concerns to program manager and/or director - Conduct environmental and safety rounds - Coach Behavioral Health Technicians in real time - Coordinate school departures and appointments - Lead admissions intake process - Review youth point sheets - Grocery ordering and grocery pickups - Coordinate individual youth store trips for use of allowance - Complete essential store runs - Ensure agency vehicles are fueled, clean, and stocked - Monitor unit inventory and submit supply requests - Prepare rooms for admissions - Review documentation and complete shift handoff - Assist with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, chores, and recreation - Lead and participate in structured activities and learning opportunities - Document progress, behaviors, and interactions - Use trauma-informed approaches, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions when needed - Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe, supportive environment **Education & Experience Requirements:** - High School Diploma - 3 years or more supervisory experience with children - Must be at least 21 years old - Valid driver’s license & insurable (if driving required) - CPR & CPI certification within 90 days of hire - Strong communication and teamwork skills - A genuine passion for helping children succeed **Unison Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).**
