Laborer, Recycling (PT Days)

## Description **GENERAL SUMMARY:** Under the supervision of the Recycling Supervisor, the Recycling worker salvages materials and prepares for recycling; through the transferring of materials, sorting recyclable plastics, use of the bailers, policing of the grounds, and maintaining a clean work area. Assigned duties are implemented in a manner appropriate to the age-specific needs of the individuals served. **EDUCATION:** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. **WORK EXPERIENCE:** No prior experience or training required. **SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:** Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to use the call in time card system.
