## Job Description The Junior Analyst supports internal stakeholders and clients across FMCG industries by delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. This role combines analytical rigor, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling through data to help drive business decisions. The analyst works closely with NIQ teams, leveraging tools such as NIQ Discover and Microsoft Office to interpret market data and contribute to impactful deliverables. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with internal U.S.-based stakeholders to understand business needs and analytical objectives. - Maintain clear, professional communication to ensure alignment on deliverables. - Present insights and recommendations to internal or external stakeholders when required. - Extract, analyze, and interpret data using NIQ Discover and other internal tools. - Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve brand health and customer experience. - Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. - Build compelling PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate findings. - Ensure deliverables meet internal standards for clarity, accuracy, and relevance. - Support storytelling through structured narratives and data visualizations. - Assist in onboarding and training internal clients on tools and services. - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and internal strategic projects. Support team members during client meetings and presentations ## Qualifications **Updated Qualifications** - **Education & Experience** - Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. - Up to 1 year of experience in FMCG, Retail, Tech & Durables, or related analytical roles. - **Skills & Competencies** - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - High attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and basic Excel; experience with NIQ Discover is a strong plus. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a multicultural, virtual environment. - Fluent English communication (B2/C1). - **Additional Capabilities** - Basic understanding of the briefing process. - Ability to build category overview analyses. - Use Discover templates and Analytical Frameworks effectively. - Support Senior Analysts in addressing Business Issue Analysis (BIA). - Apply AI tools to proofread and paraphrase headings for clarity and consistency. ## Additional Information **Our Benefits** - Flexible working environment - Volunteer time off - LinkedIn Learning - Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
